Field Day (Select the picture for the volunteer form.)

A fun-filled day for the children at Daffron Elementary!  Games begin at 8:30 AM for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade. 3rd through 5th Grade will begin at noon.

Field Day fosters cooperation, skill development, decision making, and sportsmanship. Activities vary in format and reinforce sports skills learned during the year. Some activities will also purely be recreational. The kids will have a blast! If you have not signed up to volunteer, please do so.

For Field Day to be successful we need a lot of parent help! Please remember – you must have completed the background check to help. Look for more information by selecting the picture above and to access the volunteer form. We are looking forward to a great day with the kids! Senior Reception and Daffron Senior Scholarship

The Daffron PTA invites former Daffron students from the Class of 2013 to celebrate their graduation by visiting with old friends and former teachers at Daffron. Please join us on Tuesday, May 21 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at the Daffron Elementary School Library. Please select the graduation cap to see the invitation.

 To be considered for the Daffron Senior Scholarship, the application must be received by May 13, 2013. Please select the picture for additional information on the Daffron Senior Scholarship.

Cirque du Daffron Spring Social and Silent Auction

Thanks for attending Cirque du Daffron and making it such a wonderful event! A special thanks to all of the volunteers for coordinating such a fun-filled evening! Thank you to all of our generous donors and supporters for helping make our Silent and Online Auctions a great success!

Daffron is being renovated! The project starts March 8! Bring your patience back to school!

Starting in spring 2013, Daffron will undergo extensive remodeling that will increase the school size by over 10,000 square feet. The renovation will be complete in fall 2014.

Texas PTA Life Membership

For over 90 years, Texas PTA has made available the honorary Texas PTA Life Membership Award as one of the highest honors that may be presented to individuals for outstanding service to children and youth. Daffron is extremely proud and honored to award a Texas PTA Life Membership to the following individuals.
